Cats and Kittens
(work still in progress)

"GK", Garage Kitty

Cats are independnt individuals.  As any cat lover can tell you, THEY allow a human to live with them, and tolerate us as much as possible.

I have had many cats, some I cannot find pics for, and all of them had distinct and different personalities.  But they all were very affectionate, and had a place in my life.
ALL my pets, (cats and dogs), have been rescue situations. And I encourage anyone to let a cat in and experience the "rescuing" they do for us.

I do not want to fill this blog with my reminiscing, but want to provide useful info, funny stories, and photos of your cats along with any personal observations about cat behavior.

Found this story on Guy-Sports.com:

Will and Guy bring you a cat which enjoys a dip in the pool.
A cat in Australia is defying its species' famous dread of water by taking regular dips in a swimming pool. This one, which has the unusual name of Prinny, is a Persian cat and regularly joins canine friend Bandit, the blue heeler, at the "Doggy Paddle Swim Centre" in Rosebud, Melbourne.
The paddling pooch has regular swimming sessions in order to help treat a bad back. Prinny, however, has no such ailment and apparently takes to the water simply for the fun of it.
Doggy Paddle owner Jacque Olsen told us, 'I've never seen a cat swim before. Bandit came here with a bad back and his owner said the cat swims with him at home, so Prinny hopped in the pool with him next time he came.'

"It wasn't ME!"

When a kitty  head-bumps you, it’s just his way of saying, “Hello, I trust you and feel safe.”

Secret Agent Cats

In Holland’s embassy in Moscow, Russia, the staff noticed that the two Siamese cats kept meowing and clawing at the walls of the building.
Upon investigating, thinking they would find mice, they found instead microphones hidden by Russian spies. The cats heard the microphones when they turned on.
